I've been getting into programming with code academy and internet tutorials recently, and I've really taken a liking to it.
I'm currently trying to learn python and css for basic program making and whatnot.
Tell me some good books /g/oys

Seems like the joke went over your head
Now that the joke is done, what programming books are really good?
Is SICP good or just meme? (not OP, asking for curiosity)

SICP is good because there is youtube videos of all the lectures from the class. Its functional though and dont expect to use the language for much unless you are ready old scripts.

If I use Emacs, would going through SICP benefit me?
I need a good introductory book for C++. Any ideas? I'm not looking for a comprehensive book that explains all of C++'s features since that doesn't exist. Just something introductory, yet solid and in-depth about the main features.
I already have C knowledge.
