From what I'm seeing that is more of an issue with the 13 series and the 15 is pretty good with it.

I'm looking for a laptop I can use for university and for recreational shit, I'm put off by the MBP because I know I'll be using windows primarily with work and I want to be able to still play some games with mates when I'm not out. This seemed like a good alternative due to its power for a cheaper price.

whatever you get it would be best to use it a bit in a normal room /not a store/ to see how the keyboard, screen, speakers, battery, touchpad, heating, noise, etc are before you buy it
