My CAS latency is supposed to be 8-8-8-24 but it says its 11-11-11-28?

How fix?
>>
wtf? is that a BIOS?
>>
>>61410841
Whats wrong with it?
>>
>>61410841
No, it's a BIOS utility.
>>
>>61410841
This is a UEFI.
>>
You have to use the first XMP profile.

Either that or manually chance your latency settings to match the XMP ones.
>>
>>61410792
just input them manually, should work
>>
>>61410915
Any idea how I change the profile? Or am I on that one already?

So now I need to go back and change the frequency to 1600?

The model of my ram is "8-8-8-24-2N" what exactly does that "2N" represent?

Your frequency is fine man. You have dual channel ram. So always remember to multiply the frequency it shows there by 2. (797*2=1594mhz).
>>
>>61411235
make sure its all in the same order, some bois dont have the tras and all that shit in the same order as its listed in the 8-8-8-24 bullshit.
also check your ram voltage.
Shit says its supposed to be 1.5V. I personally run mine with a slight under voltage.

Hey /g/oyim. I had a problem with my RAM too. It was OCd for a month to 3200Mhz but after that I was struggling to boot sometimes so I had to set the clocks back to default. I rmad it should I try to OC again?
>>
>>61411612

Max ram frequency is mostly dependent on the motherboard. Find out what your motherboard can handle.

Or, just keep scaling back until you find a stable value.
>>
>>61411686
Mobo handles 3200Mhz I got it for that specifically. And it was stable for a month no issues

Does it look right now?

Good goy!!! Buy our overpriced underperforming RAM yes
>>
>>61411612
Thats some timing issue, probably gotta loosen up some timing and maybe voltage too.
>>
>>61413426
I just enabled XMP and it was working flawlessly for a month
>>
>>61410910
I never thought a BIOS could become so bloated
