It's legacy and has been replaced with Edge which is ok-ish.

IMO what's bad is that 1) it's always been an attractive target for malware and exploits, and 2) it's had very limited extensibility. Those together make it a dangerous proposition for the careless or uninformed.
My only personal complaint is that it's ugly.

Slow as hell in every way. Prone to crashing. Can be problematic for web developers. Especially when using JavaScript.

Fair point. I convinced a friend to switch to Firefox. No more viruses.
