Look into 15 inch T series or W series ThinkPads. Im not sure about T machines actually but at least W520 has a very good panel which is bright (compared to the T420 at least) and 1080p. It's not IPS but it is a very good TN panel. I am not sure about T520 etc. but I heard that in general 15 inch models had better panels, not sure is this true. But W520 with a 1080p panel is suprerior to the one in T420 in all ways
