ITT fountain pens and mechanical pencils finally become one! No more separate pen and pencil threads.

Post high quality fountain pens, mechanical pencils, and similar stationery. No BICshits or wood penfags.

My collection.

MIRIN. I love mechanical pencils. No Rotring 600 though? By far my favorite. I also have a Kuru Toga, a Graphgear 1000 and a Graphgear 500. The Graphgear 500 is my second favorite. I'm considering buying a Pentel 925. Anyone knows how it fares compared to the ones I mentioned?
>>

Nevermind, I'm retarded. I didn't see the Silver Rotring 600, I was looking for black (because that's the version I got)
>>
>>61377188
I wanted the black one too but at the time it was more expensive, so I got the silver instead. Now that I have some more money I might get a black Rotring 800 or 800+ soon.

What's your favorite mechanical pencil out of your collection? I was also considering buying a fountain pain but mechanical pencils are so practical, I also like to erase when writing a lot and I find myself using mostly pencils nowadays. Are you using the fountain pens often?
>>
>>61377309
The Rotring of course but the Graphgear is a close second. I've pretty much replaced all my pen use with fountain pens but I still keep rollerballs for the occasional shitty paper.

>just bought rOtring 600
>no matter how expensive the writing utensil
>no matter the quality of paper
>it will never change the fact that you have dysgraphia

just FUCK me up desu
>>
>>61377496
did you suffer brain damage or do you just call shitty looking writing as dysgraphia?
>>
>>61377676
do you not know what dysgraphia is
>>
>>61377706
I just googled it
>inability to write coherently, as a symptom of brain disease or damage
So were you diagnosed by a doctor? What is the cause?

It's caused by a failure to develop working connections between some or all of the parts of the brain needed to write, it's inherent/genetic and generally doesn't improve with age or coaching. The one caused by brain damage is called "agraphia".

Essentially my handwriting never improved once I learned how to write; it was diagnosed by a pediatric psychologist when I was in elementary school. They tried to fix it with all kinds of techniques, nothing worked.

I can write """"okay"""" but it takes inordinate/unreasonable amounts of time to do so
>>
>>61377930
I see. It seems that coherence isn't the issue in your case or is it?
>>
>tfw bought into the 0.5mm meme but realize 0.7mm is for you
shit
>>
>>61377991
No, no problem in coherence but my letters float all over, are incredibly variable in size, and never look the same. I also occasionally substitute similar sounding letters, or even words, when writing. My hand also cramps if I try to write for any period of time.

>>61378066
I wanted the .7mm rotring but it was $15 more than the .5
>>
>>61378097
yeah have dropped more on the 0.5mm 600 since i had to buy a new tip.
guess i might have to get a 0.7mm one but afraid if i use it outside my desk, the tip will get fugged up
