Alright /g/ what the hell
I run a PC building/review channel on YouTube. My first build video (this guy: https://youtu.be/rrzp_fS1GRY) has gotten almost a quarter million views. I got featured on the front page for a few days which exploded my stats - literally thousands of times more views than I had been receiving previously.
Following the same format for my second build (similar title, tags, description, content) I made this video: https://youtu.be/W_QboP9A9UU.
Two weeks later, it still has less than 2,000 views. It never showed up on the front page, and in fact it isn't even being listed in suggested videos - a grand total of less than 200 views from suggested videos.
That budget build is still getting over 500 views PER DAY, almost 5 months after it was uploaded. The new build? Under 50, less than 2 weeks later.
What the fuck?
Introduce celery into your non-budget build videos, as the resulting hoomhatha will bring more views.
As someone who owned a cancer vine channel, I can tell you that consistency is key. As long as you constantly upload and it's not complete dogshit. You will grow. Stick to your current style of making videos. People seem to enjoy it.

At this point an incantation seems like it'd be worth a try.

Gotcha. Thanks cancer anon

I have a suggestion on your next build. A secure librebootable build. Use one of these motherboards: https://libreboot.org/docs/hardware/ pls do this. It could be a core 2 quad build or a dual opteron inane build.

but why
Make a case out of fidget spinners.
>Put up much higher quality versions of videos with 2-100million views
>500 views
Nothing goes anywhere unless you get into Suggested.

The fist was a budget build. People like budget builds.

100% true from my experience.
You don't get to 10,000, 100k, 1M subscribers unless you get lucky and the algorithm arbitrarily decides to put your stuff on the front page or suggest your videos on everyone else's. The alternative is spend years building up an audience organically, which may or may not actually work.

That might be true too. I have a few ideas for another build, a budget Ryzen.

pls respond to this >>61375567

shitty build m8, no one fucking cares about old i5's anymore. Get Ryzen/ Kaby lake chips
Pro tip: if you manage to quickly make a Ryzen 3 video on lauch, you will get plenty of views

Budget Build videos get a lot of traffic and interest because people who go to youtube to watch build videos are mostly dirt poor gaymers or BR's who want budget builds because they can't afford good shit. They resent midrange and highend builds and demand anemic budget shit from literally every tech channel that does builds.
