Having used GNU/Linux for three years soon makes me realize how fucking awful Windows 7 looks...

at least greasemonkey, tab mix plus, tree style tabs, umatrix, ublock origin, and keyconfig. For userscripts, 4chanx and oneechan; Google: Direct Links for Pages and Images if you use google; youtube+ if you use youtube.

I switched too. Chromium was running weird these last weeks in Ubuntu 16.04. I tried Firefox and it's running ok (for being Firefox).

Personally, try a few weeks or months, then come back to chrome/chromium and see if it feels better or worse

First of all:

about:support and check if multithread is active
Then
about:config serach for dom.ipc.processCount and set it to 4

Instal ublock origins, https everywhere, grease/violent-monkey and whatever else you want.
