I recently got a pair of these speakers. Are they any good?

got a friend who have a pair of them, they lack low end because of their size but he always seemed happy with them and even if he doesn't use them anymore they still work after 10 years. He made some pretty good tracks with them

monitors are meant to be flat, which makes them sound dull and lifeless if you're using them to listen to music. They direct the sound directly forwards, so they sound bad unless you're sitting right in front of them. etc I've also never heard of the brand before, so the speakers could be shitty

not him but monitors and hi-fi speakers aren't built for the same purpose, hifi speakers are supposed to make music sound good even if it's shitty music, monitors are transparent with the flattest response possible.
Monitors are more directive as well, like if you aren't in the sweet spot it sounds like shit
