>FCC will eliminate the Title II classification of Internet service providers. And that would have important effects on consumer protection that go beyond the core net neutrality rules that outlaw blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization. Without Title II's common carrier regulation, the FCC would have less authority to oversee the practices of Internet providers like Comcast, Charter, AT&T, and Verizon. Customers and websites harmed by ISPs would also have fewer recourses, both in front of the FCC and in courts of law.
>Title II provisions related to broadband network construction, universal service, competition, network interconnection, and Internet access for disabled people would no longer apply. Rules requiring disclosure of hidden fees and data caps could be overturned, and the FCC would relinquish its role in evaluating whether ISPs can charge competitors for data cap exemptions.
Key Title II provisions:
>Interconnection payments
>Data cap exemptions
>Hidden fees and data caps
>Preemption of state laws that outlaw competition
>Web browsing privacy
>Pole attachments
>Broadband for poor people
>Disability access
You guy do remember that back when America was great there was no internet, right?

get fucked, commie bastard
Look at those good goys saying isps should be back to Title 2. They don't realize the isps specifically chose to be title 2 only so that they can retain their monopoly. Since it's such a pain in the ass now against the increasing data pulling of Netflix and other sites, it was bound to bite them back in the ass.
Remove NN.

The "nerds" use things that are significantly less popular and will be much more susceptible to ISPs adding costs. Any costs ISPs want to add for Facebook (or other mainstream shit) would be covered by Facebook and it's quite likely that you'd see Facebook being exempt from mobile data as well. Getting rid of net neutrality won't fix internet. It will amplify the cancer already on the internet.
>b-but I'd use a VPN and get around that
Have fun spending more to purchase a business class internet package.
