There are Projects that simply don't care about Windows and with what Microsoft has in store for everyone in the future it's bound to increase those leaving the Platform. What to do, change policies and become better or just put what they use as alternative on top of your crap? Well, there you have it. While it seems like a desperate attempt to somehow keep the users in the microsoft-jail-in, some might actually learn linux an might at some point realise there is no point in keeping windows beneath it.

I like using it since it allows me to use most linux software I need without having to either run linux in a VM or dual booting. Everything that doesn't rely on a gui just werks.
