>mfw shills shill so much they buy into the X299 mayonnaised firehasards
1700X 4.1GHz @1443mV LLC4 2H burntest
at 1.375 the burntest never goes past 50°C
During 99% realworld usage the cpu stays at room temps

x299 is shit, but ryzen isn't any better.

At least it doesn't cost you a small fortune.

Ryzen is cool.
Is this Vyrn from 'daddy's fuck toy'?
>>61337234
The 7900x hits 100°C throttle limit at stock clocks with prime95 avx ON using a corsair h100i
>>61337234
the X299 CPU's thermal issues would not even need to be discussed if they just soldered the damn things. Ryzen runs cool even OCd just due to it being soldered

Go back to crying, Brian.
intel shills are still into damage control KEK

Doesn't meshed Bingbus just fuck latencies beyond all that is?
I know, this is an Intel slide, but come on.
I'd like to see AMD benchmark this with their ridiculous correction factors though :^)

Intel are literal oozs. I had a 6700k skylake build and was thermal throttling hard, try delid and brick cpu. (-$330). Rush delivery on a 7700k because z170 computability (Intel had to fix thermal issue this generation I said). Pop it in and thermal throttle under stress 90°c. Now I say fuck it and buy a tool to delid the 7700k. Tool comes and I replace the cheap playdough those jews put on the die with coollaboratory ultra and close it up with some jbweld rtv. Pop CPU in socket and reapply AIO cooler and I pray to sand god for delivery. See it posts and I orgasms.
under heavy stress
>58°c Max
I overclock to 4.9Ghz. Running around 1.38v
>84°c Max
Deliding is now a requirement. Buy the right tool for the job.
>>61337930
If you stick with the yid, you must delid.

I couldn't wait 4 more months for Ryzen to launch. I had to build a new pc. My old pc was a Pentium socket lga755 with ddr2 and a Nvidia GT240.
Minus the dead 6700k I'm really happy with the overclock performance. I guess I have a story to tell about how Intel jewed me.
>>61337930
If intel just put the money into soldering them, delidding would never be a thing and its a pretty jackass move that you have to risk killing your processor to get the most out of it.

This will likely be my last new Intel product. The stock paste on the cpu die was hard and crumbled when I took it off like dried playdough.
My respect for Intel crumpled with that die cpu paste.
