You lose resolution with ultramemes.

Just so you know with a vertical monitor you get some refresh issues because normally a landscape monitor refreshes from top to bottom. Unless the panel was made to be used in portrait mode, you'll notice a slight jelly effect during scrolling. Not sure how noticeable it is in the webm.

Honestly the best choice would be to get a single 32-40" 4K monitor. That's a bit more resolution than 3x portrait 1080 monitors.

Is a 39" 4k60 TV acceptable as a monitor if I sit 2 feet from my computer? I'm not gaymen, just shit posting and word processing.

the one you already have

2ft and 39" should be fine. If you can move it back even a bit further you should be more comfortable looking at the edges without tilting your head too much. Go into a store and see what's a comfortable distance compared to a 40" TV

>$800
I know you're just shitposting at this point but a 4K monitor or TV is easily half that price.

People want and need different setups maaaaan
>>
>>61332702
I know, and I understand that some people want three monitors.. But why would you use them vertically?
>>
>>61332786
While i admit this particular setup is very niche, i've seen it used in many jobs monitoring stability and resource use in network infrastructure. As long as you plan to not play any games or watch movies this kind of setup could be used without hampering workflow.

I'm a translator. It's easier for me to process all of the text I need to work with.

To everyone who is asking why I want a portrait monitor or suggesting non-portrait monitors: I have a neurological issue that prevents me from moving my eyes left to right, but not up and down. Moving my head back and forth to look at a widescreen monitor ends up hurting my neck after a while. I'm looking for something that has proper refreshing for portrait view, as >>61332593 pointed out, and also a good viewing angle. My current monitor looks super dark/distorted in portrait mode due to a bad viewing angle.
>>
I don't care about games or watching movies/TV because I stream everything to the TV in my living room and don't play many games. (The ones I do play would work fine in a small window, anyway.)

There are wm for windows as well you retard

Just curious, what happens if you physically move your eye to the side, with say your finger? Does it move forward again by itself or will it stay that way?
