I can't say towards the code, but the over feel of the product is pretty meh in most cases, there seems to be a lot of dumb qol stuff and organization that they lack. The later games are much better done though. I can't say I really enjoy the stg 2hus either. I really need to ask stg gen what their opinion is on them one of these days, just to see how it stacks to my own.

What he creates basically spamming CPU with calculations for particle trajectories and spamming GPU with a lot of 2D texture, yet you rarely or never get frame drop from it. He is definitely not a bad programmer.
