Been looking at pic related and seems to be a decent monitor arm for the price and doesn't have turbo autism branding on it. Would it be better to get two single arm mounts or one dual arm mount?

Amazon branded arms look really good actually but seem to be a little too pricey

why are these things so expensive!?!
>>

I got 2 pairs of theses a while back. Gave a pair tor pops since he has dual monitors. Other is still in storage.
>>61323149
Those are rebranded/repainted Ergotron LX, which I use. Pretty good.
>>
>>61323447
cause they're good, there's plenty of cheaper ones but they look like shit or have really low weight bearing
>>61323570
but what makes ergotrons better than something like the one I posted in the first link?
>>61323574
dat promotion though

They test their products far more. The Ergotron has 5lbs extra weight support and a 10 year warranty. Also if you want to add another arm, you can attach another one to the same base to save some space. Obviously not all that is necessary and cost more, but they've always been the top in terms of monitors arms and have been making them forever. Most of it is just branding.

I recently got the Arctic Z2 Basic for 30€ or so, not many features but it's sturdy. 23.5" and 27" monitor on it, no way to have them at different height, can rotate monitors sideways which is nice.

I wouldn't recommend to put it (too far) in the corner of an L shaped desk, the arms are rather short, and repositioning an assembled monitor arm with monitors attached sucks.

>>61323726
so you're saying i should probably get the amazon one?
>>61323778
I have another fixed arm mount and I hate it, that's why I'm looking for a gas spring arm, can only tilt and swivel, no height adjust is horrid. Once it's set it's set and you have to go through a huge hassle to adjust at all, so you better hope you get it right the first time

also forgot to ask, do you think I could get a similar position to pic related with the amazon dual arm

Yeah that's the issue. Got my monitors set up now but maybe a tiny bit too low. I'm too lazy to fix it.
