Why are you going for a big fat Intel?
Go for a decent B350 Motherboard like a MSI B350 Krait and a nice 8-core Ryzen 7 1700. It can easy be overclocked and offers a better price/performance than the i7 6700k.

Also, why are you using a normal SSD, and not a superior M.2 SSD, which is quite faster and costs mostly the same

Just get a Ryzen 1600/1700 with a cheap B350 and enjoy great multi threaded performance and overocking CPU/RAM without getting raped by Intel's anti consumer practices.

jesus christ, why the fuck would you pick a 6700k if it's $130 above MSRP? The 7700k clocks higher, and is at MSRP, and the R5 1600 can near match performance at more than $120 less than that. Also don't even bother buying a 1060 at $469, use the money you'd save going to AM4 and the R5 1600 and just get a fucking 1080 or 1080ti.

That is actually a pretty accurate description of marketing. I was one of the few lucky students who managed to take the course under a very talented professor. He told us a lot about marketing from the professional point of view and didn't talk much about theory. Of course it was not interesting enough for me to take it as a major, too much deception and jewish tricks.
