I built my PC with upgrades in mind last year, and all I gut this year was DDR4 prices jumping into the stratosphere and GPU's getting scalped by cryptocurrency miners.

How long will the mining craze keep GPU prices up? I just put up my 1070 up on eBay because I figure I can break even on getting a 1080 once prices come down. I might even get a 1050ti and just wait until Volta to get a proper GPU.
