i have transcended. no returning from my precipice. how could i come back. i might call the bogs.

I unironically installed xubuntu 16.04 lts just because every other distro just doesn't work and was tired of trying to fix things.
It's been a while and it just works. xfce looks like shit tho.
is that programming penguin?

I really don't think I could ever go back. The AUR is just such a bett34 solution then adding a million ppas and losing track of them all.
Like how do you do it Ubuntu friends? Maybe the repository got bigger since 15.xx but I don't think I could ever go back

I use XFCE on Debian. Ubuntu devs are incompetent and the community is rude.

AUR is better, but Ubuntu is very convenient. And if you use Linux professionally then you are not going to install anything with AUR access unless you are some sort of irresponsible adrenaline junkie.

>AUR is better
apt is godly. no comparison.

Frankly my arch experience has been better than anything debian based. I never once did a dist upgrade where everything worked out of box.
Manjaro is honestly the perfect distro for me.

Nah. Pacman is much better. Aptitude is about on par with pacman though
xubuntu is the greatest linux that there is
>lightweight
>affordable
