What else is there to take a picture of?
There is just a generic Gainward graphics card on the other side. Which I'm also going to put NOCTUA fans on; but I have been withholding since those already there have quite the airflow.

The case is the DANcase A4-sfx. So most pictures you can look up will just be the same.

turn that itty bitty fan around.. That big fan on the CPU cooler is drafting air down onto the VRMs, while that tiny fan is blowing air against the cooler. They're fighting each other and that makes you a bully to that kawaii fan.
>>
>>61263644
>>61263664
The idea of having the tiny fan blowing away, is that it helps getting the hot air out of the case again.
And to cool this part of the motherboard, since there is an SSD directly on the opposite side of the motherboard PCB.

I'm testing out both scenarios of fan configuration.
>>
>>61263644
Why is your GPU in the 2nd slot? You're only running with 8 pcie lanes aren't you? What chip is that?

Also I miss my HAF 912 case. I really wish CoolerMaster made the 912 again, with wire grommet rubber covers. I'd buy it again in heartbeat. Not enough cases offer mounts for 200mm fans.

Just imagine. if cases with 200mm mounts became more popular, noctua might make one.

_not_ him

But I think in his defence all these slots will run in 16x, when not all fully in used.
But the first slot usually is the PCIe lanes directly from the CPU. (Which is what you want to mount your only graphics card into.)
>>
>>61263699
P67n with a nf200 chip. It's running at 16x but prob not as good as the top slot native 16x. I didn't see anything that wasn't margin of error though. Maybe I should try with other tests.

You can still buy haf 912 and 912 usb3 new, I'd get a case with a bottom fan though.

No I built it to play vidya and render stuff
took out the two 1080s for one 1080ti so it's pretty empty now

It's my favorite case I've owned so far, I've had a few over the years, it isn't the easiest to build in but I think the end result is worth it.

I would prefer to not have those stupid LEDs on the cover fan, but oh well got the case for free so whatevs.

Specs are: 3930k, 1080ti, EVGA 850W P2, Xonar DX, LG 24GM77. Game One HPhones.

Ha might aswell be since I got all my parts from there, good thing it's not though. Pic related.
Also noticed... the price of the same 1070 I have is now $799 on PCCG and I bought it back in late April 2017 for $639, glad I bought when I did before ETH miners messed things up.

>>61268730
Because none of the few games (all small indie titles) I play today take advantage of being installed/run on a SSD, it would just be taking up space with no noticeable worthy in-game benefit and I'm not talking 0.5ms to 5 second faster loading. Anything with 10 seconds+ sure especially if we're talking Witcher 3 SSD improvement gains of course would be on the SSD.

When I did shit many a years ago such as having extremely heavily modded Skyrim, GTAV, Sims 3, FNV all of which had long loading/screens (minutes) times due to hi-res texture/meshes mods and many heavy script mods, back then on a slow 1TB 5400RPM laptop HDD.... fucking hell now that's the type of stuff that needed an SSD or better yet a fucking big RAMDisk.

The new Metro game coming out next year for example will be installed to the SSD, for now only worthy games get the luxury SSD real estate space to make sure I'm not bottle necking newer heavier fancier titles. Old titles can fuck off to the HDD, in due time I can consider extra SSDs but only Pro editions >muh TBW.

>>61264945
Agreed, hoping it all goes well, heard people talk shit/have bad experiences with every brand so..., I do wish PCCG stocked EVGA items as I hear their support is #1 with MSi being shit, Gigabyte seemed like a 50/50 with ASUS appearing better than MSi atleast in my findings of forums/here/PCMR. As for Zotac and others I don't know.

>>61271573
Is that the Corsair Pro lighting kit? I love setting it to red/blue and the settings that basically emulates a police siren light, change Corsair RGB RAM to pulse between red/blue and play some classic Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit or some shit to feel the mood.
>>
>>61271573

>>
>>61271688
I agree the rainbow setting for any RGB is eye cancer, but once you set the color scheme to something good/matching it's nice to have the freedom of being able to change up colors when bored. The few RGB on my parts are just a little bonus to me, that anon though especially with the RGB fans purposelessly going for dat RGB overload.
>>
>>61271619
it's hue+, and I wish I could do RGB rams, but there's no point without 4 dimms and price of those is ridiculous
and I usually run some combination of 2 colors, rainbow is there just to trigger people that come over
>>
>>61271831
How much more are the RGB versions of your RAM? For me it was $20 AUD so no biggy.

I currently have a sugo13 and want to switch it up between a corsair 250d or node 202. Tired of being cuckd on psu wattage and gpu length limitation.

Do each case have their own pros cons strength weakness from any1 personal experience?
>>
>>61272175
Same as usual with sff builds, the bigger it is, the better it is at cooling everything.
250d offers much better cooling, but is also way bigger.

Read some reviews and shit and decide where you wanna compromise.
>>
>>61272217
Well sugo13 was great over the years from how compact it was, living at residence and the apt after but now I bought a house with an office so bigger is fine. I'm leaning on the 250D atm. Looks like I could squeeze more hdd in OT than the node 202 which is good cause I got spares from over the years.

It would be good. If they used a long PCIe riser, so the graphics card's fans would face the same way as the CPU-cooler's fan.

I have tried building a case out of wood myself to test out how the Node 202 would work for me.
But there is just not enough airflow for the graphics card to my liking.
Which is why I got the DANCase instead.

The day they switch around the graphics card I'm getting a Node for sure.

I got the 400c but it's pretty much the same anyway. I did have a slight bulge before because i got a little lazy with the cabling. I bought extensions though and that made spacing even worse so i tidied up a lot better even though the picture doesn't do it justice. Its a tight fit back there but just take your time, try not to use the ssd tray if you can.
