Classic Shell, really amazing.
Rainmeter takes some resources and sometimes stacks, at least for me, so I don't use it anymore.
There was also a tool to create thumbnails for webm and such.
For backgrounds, DisplayFusion, run it once, set you background, never ever run it again until you want to replace the background again. It has some utilities, but you can already do all that shit with shortcuts.
