Looking at the Sony x930e. Is it future proof enough to last the next 5-8 years?

I just want to find a high-end matte TV. Why does every flagship have a mirror-finish so you can't use it in the day?

Nothing presently on the market is REC.2020 compliant so anything you buy right now will be obsolete in 2.5 years.

Just get the cheapest one you can get by on until OLED improves or comes down in price or is replaced by something superior. All LED TVs are fucking trash. Literally unwatchable garbage.

But doesn't OLED have its drawbacks also?

Interesting Ill research a little about that.
