i have a homeserver which hosts a nextcloud. my important files from my pc and mobile devices get synced over and at night a backup hdd spins up and makes an incremental backup using borg of the entire system. Every one or two month i backup the backup hdd to another hdd which is stored inside a fireproof safe.

If you mean heat inside the safe... well it can keep the contents at a reasonable temperature for about 7 hours, after that it can get ugly

Have your most important information (who gives a shit about anime) in at least 3 places.
Main HDD, backup HDD and off-site backup (external HDD) that you keep somewhere else in case your shit gets stolen or a fire, flood etc. happens.
And the ""cloud"" I guess if you don't mind having other people snooping around your files.

Bought unlimited storage to popular upload service for 10 bucks a year. I upload all of my shit there.

I personaly use unison to sync my two computer with my server located in a datacenter
