why has Fraps not been updated since February 26th, 2013?
who uses fraps anymore?
Shadowplay or OBS is all you need

>Shadowplay
doesn't that only record for 5 minuets?
if a ten second clip wasn't 1gb I would like it a lot more
as for shadowplay I can't even increase the quality without it returning to baseline or resulting in choppy video
>>61208218
no? it records for as long as you want.
>>61208220
Shadowplay is fine for me, 1080p, 60fps at 50mbps
use obs faggot.
>>61208096
Don't care, it just werks.
Also, been using fraps since 2003 and have a library worth dedicating a museum to.
>>61208096
why update it if it works?
>>61208502
>>61209230
You actually use FRAPS?
You know it's buggy as hell and basically malware, do benchmarks without FRAPS and with FRAPS (not recording, just overlay) and look how it's just hogging the system for no particular reason.
>>61208096
I lost interest
>>61208096
hello fraps my old friend
I've come to record with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
Dxtory with custom codecs or go home you fucking amateurs
>>61208502
Post the oldest thing you captured with Fraps
>>61209230
Technically it doesn't support Vulkan, so there's that. It doesn't show up with that API.

it's a software encoder that is always ready to encode, is this /g/ or is this /v/??
Don't need to update once you get your backdoors installed. Gamers don't care about software updates so grats they got a permabackdoor
>why haven't pen and paper been updated since the 40's?
