Angular was intended for designers to create rich functionality on the client. While angular 2/4 is shit and more complex than it needs to be (especially for designers), that doesn't take away the fact that the angular team is targeting people who are less exposed to server side programming or use simple languages on the server (like Ruby, where omitting the parentheses is perfectly valid syntax). Web dev has always been temporary, and most Web development will be replaced by designers dragging and dropping functionality ala a less shit dreamweaver/front page. Deal with it faggot

Can someone explain this meme to me? I don't understand how you could be a web dev/designer and not have any understanding of any web based framework/language.
