I use PIA now but it's such a well known provider that I doubt its not already compromised to shit. The VPN itself is also pretty slow for torrents (I get only about 2mbps of my 5mbps line, so not even half), but the proxy that they give you for free with your VPN works fine with qBittorent at full speed and im guessing thats enough for remaining out of anti-copyright troll sights.

I had to setup a vpn because 4chan is blocked on the public wifi where I work. Clover still worked fine as does in-thread stuff.

McDonalds started doing this in the last few years. with the increase in use of the free wifi they added filters to prevent people from using the wifi for illegal activity. im guessing people were using the wifi to download CP so they decided to block anything related to anything illegal. cant say I blame them I mean after all its their wifi and they have a right to keep it safe

I'm guessing there's a very limited amount of sites they allow, most likely the most popular social media sites and google. I tried to use a messaging app over their wifi and it wouldn't go through. Bring up google and it came up no problem. Starting to wonder if I could even connect to my vpn from there. I'll try it whenever I go there one day. That's gonna be a while though. Fuck McDonalds.
