>Linux reaches an all time high desktop market share of 2.36% according to netmarketshare.com
Is this the reason we're being under a constant Microsoft Pajeet and Rasheed astroturf attack lately? Telling us how much it's ok for us to participate in our own surveillance?
>>61176823
That chart is bullshit

You realize there's literally three Indians who use 4chan, yes?

The best part is the ebin pajeet spammers are the same people who spam "go back to /pol/", with 0 self awareness that they've invented their own jewish boogeyman

so what?
That survey said 60% of windows computers are XP

There's a whole building of pajeets paid to post on 4chin.

Being so new that you don't remember jdif ruining allmost as many boards as pajeet.
even my normie friends are starting to get on the linux train. i didn't even push them to do it. one day they just said "so yeah i installed gnome on my computer, i didn't realize how easy it is and it runs way faster"

TFW anon doesn't know that companies, and even nations have invested billions for shillposting on chinese cartoon sites.
>>61177665
We don't even have to shill. Just spreading misinformation on websites is enough to make rumors about other operating systems being shit and unacceptable.
>>61177567
>There's a whole building of pajeets paid to post on 4chin.
Considering the hate Windows 10 gets here, how barely anyone seems to actually use it on here, and that they've had 500 million installs I don't see any reason to think that there is a campaign here or that they'd even need to spend the money on a site like this. Seriously, why would they even bother? There's very few sys admins and other people with actual industry jobs that aren't programming on here on top of all of this. A technology board on 4chan isn't important or popular enough.

tfw anon is confusing 4chan with twitter and/or companies with 3-man kickstarters

>>61176823
Yes, they fear the linux uprising. Linux is a direct threat to their monopoly and want to shut down any competition.
>>61177758
explain this
>>61176823
Id rather Linux remains somehow obscure so governments, and (((them))) do t see it as a threat and pass laws against it
>>61177861
Embrace, extend, extinguish
As ms has done before
Linux is too big for that though, I hope
mfw we took 1/4th of apples marketshare
cant wait till we take half of their market share ;)

Right but this is textbook delusion.
You go from disliking (and often rightly so) Windblows to then imagining Loonix is magically gonna become popular.
I've seen this kinda behavior since the late 90s.

You're doing it again.
You appear unable the issue of Windows having flaws from the issue of Lunix growing or not.
You point to some horrible thing in Windows and for you it automatically translates into Linux popularity.
Kind of like the elite 1% with 90% of the money.
Only it's 2% with 100% of the freedom.

I'm surprised RH has such a small relative share of the Linux server market, wasn't expecting Ubuntu to be top of this share either - thought it might be CentOS.
