Some of their cables aren't amazing but good enough (Wii s-video cables for instance)

As far as HDMI cables go as long as the cables aren't literally broken or out of spec you don't need expensive cables

They're pretty good most of the time. Got one USB C cable that won't stay in. Might be slightly wrong size, as I don't think USB C had clips. Other two cables from them that were also USB C worked fine.

They're chink cables without the housefire risk. Even AmazonBasics cables are nearly double the cost of Monoprice's.

I help run an A/V shop and we buy Monoprice shit all the time. It's fine.

Monoprice has really great prices usually. The quality varies from OK to fantastic. But the best part was that if you lived in California, you could get next day NorCal shipping for virtually nothing.

But they no longer offer that sweet NorCal shipping, so their shipping cost puts them on par with everyone else now.
