I'm not sure if this is a /tv/, /pol/, or /g/ question.

Just finished watching the San Junipero episode on Black MIrrors. What would the San Junipero system in real life be like?

Basically in the show it's like this
>The dead's consciousness is placed in a massive computer system which recreates different eras to live in. (1987 party town, etc)
>The dead can choose to no longer feel pain
>Everything regenerates if broken.

I feel like in reality all that would happen is people running around killing/fucking each other since there would be no repercussions.

The whole idea was seriously half baked and only hinted at in small intervals in favor of telling a lesbian love story (which was still alright)

What does /g/ think? Would this even be possible?
