>I wanted to get a tablet to shitpost and watch YouTube videos
>been browsing for tablets for 1 and a half hours
>I dont need a "premium" $700 tablet just to browse the internet and watch videos
>I dont want to get a laggy chinese tablet either
>watch YouTube videos to see tablet reviews and performance
End up thinking, why the fuck do I need a tablet for? I have a smartphone and a laptop.
Are tablets really worth it? I think they are a big meme.
I use my tablet to avoid printing documents, building codes, design manuals etc.
Mi pad 2, cost like £150 bong bux.
4:3 aspect
Retina (tm) display
7.9"

thinking about getting a tablet for that and picture display. or ill just have to start printing pictures, not sure which. but you cant really show pictures on a computer, just doesnt work. im thinking of loading them on a sd card and putting them on a tablet.
Woot regularly sells Amazon refurbed Kindle Fire 8.9s for $40
That's a shitty Galaxy S3 level piece of hardware but come on, a 9 inch 1920x1200 screen is pretty sweet at that price

No they're not, i myself got a nexus 7 mark II before getting my OnePlus one. Now it serves as a alarmclock and nothing more. Expensive alarmclock if you ask me.

>tfw my Nexus 10 battery finally shit the bed
It won't hold a charge for longer than a few seconds anymore. I'd buy a new battery, but I only use it for comics in bed. What would other anons do in this situation?
I have a tablet solely because my telco offered a good deal with a data only plan... I then took the data sim out(which is 3gb a month for $8) and put it in my dual sim phone, with a PAYG sim for texting and phone calls(though the 3gb data plan also includes unlimited texting on it... but then id have to manage 2 numbers).
I only power it on every few weeks to keep it updated.
Its a LG Gpad3. If it supported MHL or Slimport, id probably use it as a media center for my TV... but they pulled that feature off. Sucks too, cause it has a full-size USB port on it, so it would be a pretty elegant setup, not OTG adapters or mess of wires.
I think the tablet, out the door, was $40, with a 2 year contract for the data plan(which is like $200 over 2 years)
