are you talking about vega?

That's pretty disingenuous there.
It was 105c on the back of the PCB under the VRMs (probably ~120c for the VRMs)
The VRMs however were never water cooled.
if you're gonna give intel shit, at least do it honestly.
another intel hate thread...

The video isn't being disingenous, OP is. But people don't usually measure VRM temperatures, lots of them might run hot. Downblower coolers too, Intel would most likely test with their stock downblowers. But the real problem is the overall power draw, and Intel should be clipped on that.

I'm more worried about power cables hitting fucking 80C and causing a actual real housefire
>>61136594
That doesn't change anything, VRMs are Intel's fault since they moved them off the motherboard.
If the layout does not facilitate the cooling of VRMs then that's on Intel

That's exactly what I was implying.
The video is fine.

1. FIVR isn't really a thing anymore Intel learned that lesson
2. The video isn't about FIVR anyway, it's about VRMs on the motherboard.

Yeah, I hate it when Intel products burn my house down, too.
