Can any of you losers put together a system with the same specs for the same price with a warranty? The answer is no - thanks for the input everybody.
I use the 6420 but spiced up with ssd, more ram and "better" screen. It's okay but the screen is a shitty TN and the thermal pastes needed replacing. Also had some weird acpi issues on Linux but those problems seem to be gone now. Very repairable, affordable, and can get good chink batteries. 4/5 would recommend if you really want a sturdy and repairable laptop and don't care if it's slim and light or not. I recommend running i3wm and disabling the NVidia GPU if your model has that, to save battery.
