I'd be interested about alternatives to GTX 1060/1070 MSI Armor at the SAME price point either way. Pointing at such would be infinitely more valuable than meme-hating it like I've seen in all the cases.

Speaking of buying GPUs on a budget, the most important thing to look at is the duration of the warranty.

ROG Strix is well worth the money.
The EVGA SC2 is pretty fucking good, too.
Gigabyte non-Aorus are all garbage except for mining.
Cheap MSI are similarly garbage.

I'm not sure what the Nvidia equivalent is to the good cheap AMD models (like the Sapphire Pulse). All the cheap Nvidia cards I've personally tried (which is a good deal) are all garage.

im not the guy you responded too but for the me asus strix was 30 more then the evga single fan card and for that price you get a huge coolblock so the card usually runs at 0rpm even in most games. totally worth paying 30 extra for the silence imo, and you can turn the leds off.
