How much safer is Ethernet compared to Wifi?

Safer for/from what?

People outside your room
Still susceptible to man in the middle attacks if attacker gets into network. Wired protects against captive portals/ap spoofing, but it's hard to fall for those anyway.

Ethernet is fucking a total slut with a condom.
WiFi is fucking that same slut without a condom.
>>61122458
Well obviously a lot fucking safer from the average person since it's a closed network that can only be accessed via a direct connection.
Once it leaves your local network though it's just as vulnerable as any other connection.
Also, a nation state actor (NSA, CIA, FSB, etc) would likely have capabilities to monitor at least basic information on an ethernet connection, i wouldn't be surprised if they can monitor it wirelessly as well using electromagnetic measurements on the cable. (similar method to how they can break encryption by monitoring the electrical signals inside the CPU)

Well it'd make it more difficult for someone to get in your network by literally going to your house. They'd have to actually break into your house instead of sitting outside it. If they wanted to do that you're already fucked. "If I can touch it, I own it."

assuming it's not the NSA or some shit.
They likely have the sensitive equipment required to detect at least basic information (seeing how many packets or when packets are being sent) wirelessly.
Actually SEEING what the packets are would likely require a direct connection (or VERY advanced equipment and a lab setting to filter out external RF an EM noise)

A better analogy:
Ethernet is like fucking a girl with borderline personality disorder with a condom.
WiFi is like fucking a girl with borderline personality disorder without a condom.
