They give you a magnet or torrent and you download either the file or the metadata and the file from the same swarm that nyaa.se has been using for years.

It would be like going after any sort of file host provider for the fact CP got on their systems. They do their best to stop people sharing on their platform and notify legal if any is found. Legally he'd be okay, but if a clear pattern of habits might have them take a closer look (better to go after the source, the uploader than the file host).

Biggest issue would be any sort of fallout from the accusations, rather than any conviction of being part of the CP ring. Still open file hosting in this day and age is spooky.

It has since been fixed and the server is back up with a new address since my no-ip domain expired and they cucked me.
