Shut up retard. Installing an app willingly, by giving root password is not ransomware, its an encryption software that you installed to encrypt your data, and then asks you to pay for the service it provided.

You cannot blame a system for a user being retarded. Windows on the other hand is vulnerable to ransomwares, unless it's fully patched. Linux and Mac is not even close to that.
