Good enough for basic internet browsing and casually watching videos, garbage for any real productivity if you're not going to hook up to a real. Monitor though.

I work as an accountant, and my boss refuses to upgrade his aging super cheap laptop. Whenever I have to do anything on that thing it is such a chore. Can't even have two windows open side to side without cutting everything off, and even full screen it cuts a lot off.

Both are bad. Either get x900 or over x1600. x768 is too low, x1080 is too high for 1x scaling and non-integer scaling on a desktop OS is a nightmare
