He sowed the seeds for AMD current lineup, but he had no vision for the company. He kept trying to chase after the next big thing while ignoring AMD's biggest strengths. Like K12, Skybridge and the SeaMicro acquisition. He was a much more miss that hit CEO. Turns out there's no demand for ARM servers. Anybody planing on moving away from x86 will be looking at OpenPOWER or potentially RISK-V.
