Transmission is good, but too minimalist. Tixati's UI is a fucking mess. Deluge is ok but qStalled is better.

But oh well, as I said, after waiting for like a month for a torrent to complete, having the stalled meme happen and thinking that it was because there was not enough seeders, I tried Transmission and Tixati and, magic - the download was finished in a matter of days!
And qbitstalled is libtorrent too, so I'm better off with Transmission or Tixati anyway. The way libtorrent deals with partial torrent downloads is a fucking joke.

I have two theories about torrents that stop at 99.9%.

The most logical explanation is that the torrent is just about dead with no seeders and just other peers who have the incomplete torrent as well.

However, a thing that I have encountered before was a new lively torrent that only has 1 seed and stops at 99.9% and I believe this is an intended plot to force you to sit there and seed for a while before you're allowed to finish the torrent.

I've actually thought of doing just that: add a 1KB text file to the upload and then never seed it, stopping people who have their client set to shutdown on finish. Just the other day I was on a torrent with two people seeding quite happily to several others at 99.9%. Speaking of torrent clients, why does my CPU usage occasionally jump to ridiculous levels while torrenting? Everything works fine at first with CPU usage being like 2% so I can download smoothly but then something happens and suddenly any download ends up hogging almost an entire core. Restarting the torrent client doesn't help but if I restart my PC and get back to downloading the same exact torrent the CPU usage goes back down. I have an i5 6600k, W7 and have tried both Qbittorrent and Halite and both have the same issues. I used W10 for a while before switching back to W7 and didn't have any issues so I doubt it's related to the hardware.
