The ease of making a hackintosh depends mostly on how you go into the project. I built a new pc using parts off the suggested build list, and looked up on the forum to see people's experiences with the configuration. So I went in knowing that the only issues I would experience is needing an audio kext. Honestly installation was quicker and easier than installing Windows 7 on the same computer.

Allot of people that have the most issues are people that just blindly jump in with no research or want osx to just work on their 3 year old hp or some cheap shit Dell.
