What would happen if I hypothetically got a hold of the credit card info of someone, then bought bitcoins with it, then laundered it a dozen times, then sold the bitcoins for cash?
Would I be caught?

Maybe
I don't know
Depends on how you sell the bitcoins OP.
If you sell it through an exchange and you're in the USA, you'll have to report to the IRS for capital gains taxes. They may question where you got the initial money to buy the bitcoins, since you won't have a record of it from your own accounts.
If you go through localbitcoins and sell to someone else, this is illegal in the USA due to money laundering laws, so if you get caught you'd go to jail.
I dunno how it works for Europoors.

Just use the bitcoins to buy prepaid visas from an online store that accepts bitcoins

>buying bitcoins with credit cards
this is hard to do, and very limited, often with very long hold periods, exactly because of this.
well, in europe we have anonymous bitcoin atms. you could visit few of them and withdraw cash. you could be traced physically, if anybody was tgere waiting for you.
