What are some good search engines other than Google?
For some reason Google show rainbow sidebars when looking up a mental illness.
startpage
searx
qwant
yacy

The *best* search engine is the one you make yourself

This. In that exact order. Startpage is basically google without tracking, except the result page has an annoying 1 second delay.
Duckduckgo, ignore the FUD.

I use searx. I'd have probably used startpage, but the search results, particularly the image ones were shite. Searx seems better with that and you can configure it more. The search results page is kinda shit aesthetically, but I have a CSS that makes it look better.
Read the board rules. There are alternatives given q.q

English, please.

But "their" can refer to a single person and we use it all the time.
"Hey my friend is coming to the party tomorrow."
"Oh cool, what is their name?"
I agree it would be weird to use their when you know the gender when the person is standing right in front of you, but it can refer to a single person when you don't know the gender.

The DDG results look a lot better.

Are you blind? They have almost nothing to do with "emuparadise" other than the site being mentioned and prioritizes social media over the actual site. You're literally saying
>I'm fine with ddg not being able to find the site I'm searching for
Ddg shills are idiots.
Ddg is garbage.
