I hate C++ myself. I'd like to have at least some of those features in my language. I understand C is meant for writing kernels but you have to understand that not everyone needs to / is going to write kernels.

Currently have the role of "data scientist" at my company. I have only used Python and R for the past year. Laugh all you want about my "meme job," but I make well into six figures and do fuck all at work.

Good for you? I didn't really ask for any input from you or anyone else for that matter. I have an undergrad in CS and a Master's in Mathamteics. I don't mind the math. Lastly, I work for SAP, so I'm pretty sure we are aware of the last point you tried to make.
