These computers are fucking awful. They're 100% unserviceable, theres no screws or latches anywhere on the outside of the laptop to get to the inside. The entire cloth like exterior is literally glued to the bottom frame. The keyboard is glued to the inside of this cloth shit and pretty much everything on the mainboard that isn't a component directly on the mainboard is also glued.

I honestly do not get the surface laptop. Part of the appeal of the Surface line was the hybrid nature of either getting a keyboard and using it as a laptop, or using it without the keyboard as a damn good tablet.

Forcing the keyboard on it with no benefits and no additional USB or other ports at such a premium price compared to other laptops feels misguided. Not to mention not being able to upgrade/repair it in any way and the fabric on the keyboard as OP pointed out with spills will be ad.
