Eth is memory reliant and its memory usage increases drastically every epoch.

Bitcoins is simply a cryptographic hash rotation using SHA256; it can easily be performed using ASICs for very little cost and R&D to design/build.

You would need to be able to unlock the software and install software optimized for mining; including dedicated ACPI support and GPU voltage control to optimize the power efficiency of the machine. AFAIK it is possible to install Linux on the PS4 and PS4 Pro, but not yet possible on the XBOX One. It may be possible with a hardmod though, but certainly not economic for miners to do this for every console.
