It's been done already, many years ago. It worked by detecting reposts on the front page, then it just copied the top comment from the last time. Reddit is 95% reposts and they're also extremely predictable and repetitive, so the majority of times they would send the exact same comment on the exact same post to the top again. Took a long time before someone caught on, caused so much butt hurt. Not because they were mad about the obvious implications, no. They were mad because the account gained the karma "unfairly". Upvotes are the gayest fucking idea ever, Reddit is such cancer.
