So I've been doing more outdoorsy shit lately and I want to start recording and editing videos for fun. I was about to cop a GoPro but then I remembered /g/ exists to tell me what a fucking idiot I am for spending $$ on overpriced branded tech. Any alternatives to GoPro that are

SJcam, make sure to get a real one as there are lots of fakes.

GoPro Session is cheaper than Hero models too.

Also Xiaomi action cameras are supposed to be good
