Ok, so I recently got an NVMe SSD and I ran Samsung Magicians performance benchmark and it's running slower than my sata SSD. Is there any way I can speed it up or is it something with my motherboard that's slowing it down? Motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-990FX. Any help is appreciated.

I have a Dell Gaming S2716DG and it's amazing. It's over $500 but if you save your money it's worth it. But if you don't want to wait just get a monitor with a good resolution and with high Hertz. Anything over 60hz is gonna be pricey though. At least from what I've seen.

I got a rev 2.0 Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r and when I installed a RAID card, LSI Megaraid 9240-4i My pc wont boot. It just says

The BIOS has the SSD as the main boot device, it sees the raid card, its set to a lower priority.

Soon as I remove the card it works fine, but not with it.

I have Realtek HD Audio and NVIDIA HD Audio there. When I connect headphones to monitor then I can adjust the volume just right, but when I connect them to case and then choose Realtek HD Audio I simply can't adjust volume.

you can download invidivual .deb packages from packages.debian.org and install them manually with

dpkg -i filename.deb

It will alert you about any missing dependencies, you can grab those manually and install them later.

Why is my home network fucked?

ISP: Telekom (Germany)
Modem/Router: TP-Link WD9980
Switch: Netgear GB unmanaged

Randomly during the day, sometimes for a few minutes - sometimes for hours (before bed at night until morning) my network shits the bed.

The internet stops working for all devices, my routers webpage even becomes unaccessible.

Via Wifi, LAN - on PC or Phone - the intetnet goes down and i cant even access the router page.

This never used to happen, but since a month or so, its happening every day.

I thought it was my router, so i got a new one (same model) sent to me and its still fucking up straight away.

Ive turned off all the other routers in the house (access points) and my proxy server (rpi). The router hasnt had a single setting modified - only the wifi passwords were changed.

Its using the standard dhcp and dns, i just plugged zhe new router in - used the quick setup and selected "VDSL_Telekom" and gave it my username and password.

What the shit? Are these routers just complete dogshit? J thought it was an isp fuckup maybe, but that doesnt explain why i cant access the router admin page (192.168.1.1)..

What should i do g? Just bite the bullet and buy a Fritzbox? Or is there a fifferemt VDSL router i should try (mimd you the choices for VDSL routers is not that big).

I can't access the bios at all anymore. I press start the laptop and less tha a second after that I'm greeted with this. So I don'tthink I can influence the boot priority in any way.

I'm not familiar with what a BBs menu is, BIOS Boot Specification? I hadn't heard of it before.

I'm trying to install windows 10 LTSB onto a tablet PC with a botched install of android x86.

I created a bootable flash drive with the iso using rufus.

I have secure boot disabled in the BIOS. The only boot option available in the BIOS is "UEFI OS" which isn't useful to me.

So because my monitor is shit I have to use a ICC profile to get good colors. Because NVIDIA is shit it overrides my ICC when I load a full screen game. I know it's not popular these days, and I'm likely to get insulted for even recommending it, but I still swear by uTorrent 2.2.1. Performs much better than any other Windows client I've tried, along with pretty much any feature you could want. Grab BEncode Editor as well if you want to be able to do stuff like batch renaming or moving torrent files while seeding, makes life much easier if you need to move a couple hundred torrents to another drive without having to manually redirect every single one.

As for your second question, no, I wouldn't say anybody really NEEDS to join a private tracker. It's more of a luxury thing, private trackers tend to mean added convenience and organization at the cost of some increased responsibilities on the part of the user. (Though these are only ever really non-trivial for the first couple of weeks on most trackers, then you amass enough buffer without even really trying that you never need to think about it again beyond making sure to seed everything for the minimum required time.) Whether the cost is worth the benefits is up to you, really.

The last few days I've been unable to post images, just replies. It hangs on 'waiting for sys.4chan.org' , then after a few minutes defaults to 'problem loading page / secure connection failed'. This is Firefox on windows 10, but happens in Linux too. Since I can't post images, that means I cannot create threads.

Note: I tried in Edge for sanity. It worked. So ... either Firefox Adblock (disabled currently) or noscript (all 4chan allowed) must be causing the issue, somehow? What on Earth do I need to whitelist / where?
