Why don't all laptops have this?
>>61018556
Because applel normalized the trackpad as the default pointing device, everyone else just followed suit like the sad sheep they are
>>61018947
at least when you let go of a trackpad the cursor doesnt continue to drift an extra inch

>he gets all his info off of /g/

I think it's patented
Honestly, I don't like the trackpoint, but I like the trackpad even less. My first laptop had a trackball and nothing else has ever really felt right after that.
with I could install a cover with a trackpad delete, don't even wanna feel it down there

normies happened
same reason of why chiclet keyboards, muh thinness homosexuality, soldered processor/ram/everything and no ports became a thing
>>61018995
>I think it's patented
Dell used to use trackpoints, dunno if they still do
Nobody but 40 year old men and /g/ know what it even is let alone have a chance of preference for it
It's sexist.

Pretty sure you can
>>61018556
what kind of fucked up keyboard layout is that
>>61019002
There's nothing wrong with chiclet buttons.
>>61018995
