If you want to learn everything about JS, sure.
You probably just want to learn the good and useful parts about JS though, and not the million other ways to do any one thing, 99% of which are all horrible.
Apparently the following are good:
• JavaScript - The Good Parts
• You Don't Know JS by Kyle Simpson - It's a whole series of books, but probably better after the basics are down.
