according to Social Blade, Gamers Nexus with 137k subs brings in $483.75 - $7,740.00 a month. that's with putting out videos every day as well as long indepth reviews. even if we assume that they're bringing in double that combined with their website revenue (idk if they even sell ads), that's $15k a month. $15k a month for hours of work a day between multiple employees. that doesn't include all the costs of the equipment and gear required to actually make the videos

an EE/CE professional can pretty easily make $5-6k a month at a normal job, working 8 hours a day, and not have the stress of running their own business or having to fly around the world to expos and do 14 hours of coverage for a week straight every other month
